ST. ANDREW MENTAL HEALTH MINISTRY
The mission of St. Andrew’s Mental Health Ministry is to bring the light of Christ to those facing mental
health challenges, as well as their loved ones. Our ministry is committed to walking alongside
individuals and families, offering compassionate support that nurtures both faith and well-being. We
can also provide information on local mental health resources where needed.
Spiritual Support Groups
The Spiritual Support Group serves to support, encourage and pray with and for people who live with
mental illness. We come together to share our faith life and experiences with one another as we also seek to
grow spiritually closer to our loving God. If you are interested in participating in the group, email us at
standrewsanctuarymh@gmail.com with your contact information and we will be in touch with you.
Sanctuary Mental Health 8-Session Course
Periodically we will be offering the Sanctuary Mental Health 8-Session Course for Catholics. Its purpose
is to introduce the topic of Mental Health to the parish. Each session addresses a specific topic including
an introductory session, mental health, mental illness, stigma, recovery, companionship, self-care and the Church.
Other Events
We also periodically conduct events on topics that we feel are beneficial for the parish. For example, we
did an event in December 2025 called “The Holidays and Your Mental Health”.
