Matrimony & Weddings

Marriage is a "covenant or partnership of life between a man and woman, which is ordered to the well-being of the spouses and to the procreation and upbringing of children. When validly contracted between two baptized people, marriage is a sacrament" (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601).

St. Andrew welcomes couples who wish to get married at this parish. Those who are interested must sign up for a Wedding Information Night to receive the Archdiocesan Guidelines and rules for marriage. Couples must come to a Wedding Information Night (which are held once per month) at least six months in advance of their wedding date. Weddings cannot be scheduled or reserved until after couples have attended the information night.

What you can expect for these Wedding Information Nights

Fr. Paul, our pastor, will welcome you with a champagne toast to your engagement in our Romanesque-style piazza, where he will give a brief history of our beautiful church.

After, we will go to the church where one or two of our host couples will speak about their experience of being married and prepared here.
